State Sen. Nicole Mitchell resigned her Senate seat last Friday, a week after being convicted of felony burglary following an April 22, 2024 arrest at her stepmother’s home in Becker County.
On Friday, a Becker County jury convicted Sen. Nicole Mitchell (DFL-Woodbury) of felony first degree burglary and possession of burglary tools after a week-long trail in northern Minnesota.
