The month of May brings the end of the legislative session, as there are only two weeks until the Minnesota Legislature’s May 18, 2026 deadline to adjourn for the year.

With only three weeks remaining in the legislative session, legislative leaders have officially begun end-of-session negotiations as they look for consensus or compromise.

The third legislative deadline has passed and the legislature is one month from adjournment.
