Federally, the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives shifted back to Democrat control, with a blue wave across the country. It is important to note that U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar won the concurrent race for Minnesota Governor and will resign her existing federal Senate seat. A temporary gubernatorial appointee will fill Klobuchar’s seat until a future special election is held.
